I ran a survey last week to see how No Recipes could be improved, and a number of you wrote in saying I should go into more detail about the ingredients I use. I do often write about ingredients when I introduce them for the first time here, but it seems repetitive to talk about them with every post.
Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of a new blog called [No Recipes] Ingredients. Every post will follow roughly the same format, so you can use it as a reference for more obscure ingredients, or to learn more about ones you may already know. I plan to highlight 1 new ingredient each day filling you in on everything you need to know including: what it tastes like, when it’s in season, where to find it, and how to cook with it.
Also, I’ve setup a separate RSS feed for Ingredients, so if you want to keep up with the latest stuff in my kitchen, hook your reader up to that feed. Since it’s a separate blog, you won’t see the posts here, but look for this symbol (
) next to ingredients listed here and click through to learn more about them.
