Black Pepper Beef

Some things were made to be together. Big Bird and Mr. Snuffleupagus, Snooki and Jionni, and red on a Ferrari are a few pairings come to mind. Black pepper and beef are two ingredients that have a long history together, and whether you live in Boston, Bordeaux or Beijing, you’ve probably sprinkled some pepper on your beef at one time or another. I love the Chinese take on pepper steak because it’s simple and delicious. No need to fuss over cooking a thick slab of meat to perfection, and the vegetables are included, imbuing them with flavor while saving you one pan to wash.
