With Strawberry season in full swing in some areas, it’s a great time to freeze spring’s crimson berries to enjoy through the rest of the year. But if you don’t freeze the berries quickly enough, they turn into a weeping pile of mush when you defrost them. This week over at PBS I post some tips on freezing strawberries properly (or any food for that matter) along with a recipe for a strawberry maple smoothie.
