I'm not good with participating in events, but since video stores have gone the way of the dodo here, I can't quite expand my movie vocab to be able to join. (it's the first I've heard of Monsoon Wedding!) Rest assured if it's a movie I love (er... Joy Luck Club, hehe), I'll join (if it were for that movie, I'd even host!) That being said, I do like the dishes you've shown here-- I'll have to give the Chicken Tikka a try since I wasn't able to get good CTM here. :) And thanks for the tip on the Japanese grocery-- that was a fun shopping trip! Indian bazaars are the best for rare ingredients. apparently mustard oil is illegal for consumption.
