It’s already been over 100 days since the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster in Japan. Although media coverage in the West has died down, the devastation in the worst hit areas and the fallout from the nuclear disaster will take years to recover from. With thousands of people who either lost their homes or unable to return to their home, Japan needs our help.
When I first heard from Rachael over at La Fujimama that she was teaming up with Stacie from One Hungry Mama to create a charity cookbook for Japan, I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of it. They graciously let me join the cause, and together with 56 other awesome bloggers, we compiled the Peko Peko Cookbook: a book full of beautiful pictures and delicious family friendly Japanese-inspired recipes. Each contributor not only contributed a recipe, but they also shared their personal connection with Japan.
