MOLTEN CHOCOLATE OMELETTE

Tender and ultra chocolaty with a molten lava center, this easy sweet omelette is the perfect fix whenever a chocolate craving strikes.

INGREDIENTS

- 1 1/2 tablespoons evaporated cane sugar - 7 grams cocoa powder - 1 large egg - 1 tablespoon heavy cream - 4 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon cacao nibs (3 grams) - 1 teaspoon salted cultured butter - 23 grams dark chocolate

Add the sugar to a mixing bowl and sift in the cocoa powder.

SIFT COCOA POWDER

Add the cream, egg, and vanilla extract and whisk the ingredients together until smooth.

WHISK INGREDIENTS

Add the cacao nibs to a frying pan and toast them over medium heat while constantly stirring. Transfer them to a bowl to cool. 

TOAST CACAO NIBS

Add the butter to the pan and lower the heat all the way.

MELT BUTTER

Add the chocolate omelette batter tot he pan and cover with a lid. Steam for 2 minutes.

POUR IN BATTER

When the timer is up, remove the lid and arrange the chocolate on half off the omelette.

ADD CHOCOLATE

Use a spatula to fold the omelette in half. Cover with a lid and steam for 2 minutes.

FOLD OMELETTE

Slide the sweet omelette onto a plate and garnish with the toasted cacao nibs and whipped cream.
